"What an amazing day! Weather was nice, kids ran all over the ranch and Cooper kept leading me around showing me all the 'cute' things he found, and of course we spent the day with good friends, ate good food and shared some laughs."

We do not charge for the children to come, while we appreciate donations it is not required. Donations can come in many ways, fruits or veggies you won't use, crackers (the goats and sheep love them), a bag of feed, or a bale of grass, also Big R does gift cards. Anything you may throw out many animals love such as pumpkins from the holidays, Christmas trees things like that, if you have questions please feel free to contact us and ask.
My husband and I both work full time while building Valkyrie so we are able to purchase what the animals need. We also sell chicken and duck eggs to off set their feed so it helps a lot.
If you would like to donate and have questions please ask. We want everyone to enjoy what we are building and even in tough times the animals love visitors and expect nothing but conversation and someone to pet them. Thanks!!

Read MoreYesterday was a difficult day but we got the fences fixed so the girls can be in the big pasture. It was absolutely amazing watching them gallop and sprint around. I pulled a chair over and we watched them for a half hour. Beautiful. <3

Such an exciting morning for us. The trainer came and one of our puppies made the cut <3 This little girl will be going to a veteran. My heart is so warm right now!!

Great day for two very special kids, they got to pick out their new puppies (<3) out of our litter of 10. 3 will be donated to families in our community.
We will be getting a new addition, this weeee little fainting goat will be ready to come home in a few weeks. He will be loved by all <3
The absolute best part of opening Valkyrie is the kids, watching them catch, touch, and feel my animal babies, it warms my heart beyond measure <3. Our Thursday volunteer was getting a ton of puppy love today :-)
